GelatoLab Email Policy
Effective August 19, 2026
GelatoLab is a product operated by Turnstone Tech LLC. This policy applies only to email sent for GelatoLab.
Turnstone Tech's corporate email remains transactional and service-only, as described in the Turnstone Tech Email Policy. GelatoLab sends service email and a limited amount of GelatoLab promotional email as described below.
Emails that operate and support GelatoLab
We send email needed to provide, secure, and administer GelatoLab. These messages may include:
- magic-link sign-in and email verification messages,
- account, security, and workspace invitation notices,
- support and service communications you request,
- billing, subscription, payment failure, and cancellation notices, and
- trial status and access change reminders.
You may receive these messages when you create or use a GelatoLab account, accept an invitation, request support, start a trial, or manage a subscription. They are not part of the weekly recipe roundup subscription. Necessary service messages may continue after you opt out of promotional email.
Limited GelatoLab product guidance
GelatoLab may send a small number of messages after an account or trial action. Current examples are the welcome message when your account is ready and a one-time feature spotlight after you choose to start a Pro trial. These messages may explain GelatoLab features or paid plans, so we treat that content as promotional in this policy.
These messages are tied to the GelatoLab action you took and are not campaigns for other Turnstone products. Starting a Pro trial does not subscribe you to the weekly recipe roundup. Contact us if you have a question or request about product-guidance email.
Optional weekly recipe roundup
The weekly recipe roundup is an optional promotional email with new and popular public recipes from the GelatoLab community. It is off by default.
You can request the roundup with the unchecked option during signup, then confirm that choice after you verify your email. You can also subscribe later in Settings → Preferences. Agreeing to the Terms of Service, creating an account, or starting a trial does not subscribe you.
How to unsubscribe
You can unsubscribe from the weekly recipe roundup at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a roundup or turning it off in Settings → Preferences. The link also lets you manage a broader unsubscribe recorded by our email provider. Unsubscribing stops future roundups but does not stop necessary account, security, billing, subscription, or trial-status messages.
Sender identification and contact
GelatoLab email identifies GelatoLab as the sender and provides a way to reach us. Questions about a message, your email preferences, or your account can be sent to hello@getgelatolab.com.
Complaints and abuse handling
If you believe you received a GelatoLab email in error, or believe a message is abusive or unauthorized, report it to hello@getgelatolab.com. Include the subject line, date, and sender address when possible. We aim to respond within one to two business days.
We review complaints and take appropriate action. That may include correcting a subscription, suppressing future promotional email, investigating unauthorized use, restricting a sending account, or adding safeguards to prevent another issue.
